Nextwave created 360 degree Virtual Reality experience with the TVS Racing Aces game at the TVS Motors exhibition stall at the Auto Expo 2016. TVS Racing Aces is a Virtual Reality Motorbike Racing game in 3D.<\/p>\n
The game recreates 2 racing racing environments in VR\u00a0 DIRT ACE – Race your guts out in a Super Cross Track and HILL N DALE – Put your racing skills to test against the forces of nature.<\/p>\n
Actual Racing Bike Mounted Interactivity controls
\nThe original TVS RTR racing bikes were rigged with controls to help you ride the bike in the virtual environment in the game. Controls on the handle bar will allow you to accelerate, turn, swerve. You can brake using the foot pedal brake.<\/p>\n
Next gen Virtual reality
\nOn putting on the headphones and the Oculus Rift, the virual reality head gear the rider would get a Point of View (POV) experience as he goes racing through the seemingly impossible berms, whoops… The biker would be able to accelerate, turn and brake using the mechanical controls that’s integrated with the motorbikes.<\/p>\n
OCULUS RIFT<\/p>\n
The Oculus Rift is a next-generation virtual reality headset designed for immersive gaming. The Rift uses custom tracking technology to provide ultra-low latency 360\u00b0 head tracking, allowing you to seamlessly look around the virtual world just as you would in real life. Every subtle movement of the head is tracked in real time creating a natural and intuitive and experience. The display on Oculus Rift, the head-mounted VR device, will give an immersive experience, and with the added physical simulation, would be the closest to racing a professional motorbike in a competitive race.<\/p>\n
GAMING JACKETS’ FOR ADDED PHYSICAL SENSATION
\nTo take the experience to an even higher plane, the riders were wearing Gaming Jackets. The rider shall get an acoustic and haptic sensations that would be nothing short of thrilling. The rider will experience the ambient sound right next to his ears, and feels the vibrations on his chest.<\/p>\n
